I got the chance to visit Albuquerque, New Mexico during the weekend. I enjoyed whatever time I had left at Gatherings and ended the night at the Rezilience show. I did not get to attend the Pink Party, but I heard some awesome things about it. Jared from OXDX Clothing was there. I got to meet the actress KDevery Jacobs from Rhymes for Young Ghouls (watch it on NETFLIX). Steven Paul Judd got to do a Q & A. Thosh Collins and Chelsea Luger from Well For Culture did a great job presenting their movement (They have some great workouts and visit their page- there are some delicious recipe meals). The actor Martin Sensmeier from the upcoming film Magnificent 7 was there as well!!! SO, many great artists bringing creativity to a memorable day and for a great cause. I enjoyed the show very much. Here’s a small clip from the REZILIENCE show. I did it for you 🙂
Don’t forget to check out my dope friend artist Jared and his new collection of his clothing line OXDX Clothing. It was a great event and awesome to meet new people and even bought myself a painting from 1491’s Bobby Wilson aka Bobby Dues!!!! Beyond Buckskin, Supaman, Naataanii and Mitko was there! It was such a great event! I am glad I went.
Hi, some of you may know A Tribe Called Red by now. They have been on tour in Europe and the US. They have become huge now after being exposed by Diplo and Angel Haze. I remember when they did a show in Tempe at the Sail Inn and there weren’t many people, but now they’re selling out shows like you won’t believe and playing the at huge festivals. It’s unbelievable!!! They’re helping representing natives now and young artists like Nataanii Means, Frank Waln, Mike “Witko” Clifford, Supaman and Inez Jasper. Native American issues are being addressed as well and they’re helping spread the news, which is great.
